Product Description
Goin’ To The Shuk is an echo song that teaches the names of various fruits and vegetables in Hebrew, and a cumulative song, helping to stimulate memory. It is also a “zipper” song, meaning that you can insert different ideas of your personal favorite fresh market purchases, and sing the song in a new way each time you sing it. The pictures in the book are drawings of Machane Yehuda, the open-air market in Jerusalem, Israel, but they could be taken from any market around the world.
The book includes the lyrics and the sheet music, and the song can be heard on Joanie’s CD, Sharim V’Rokdim, Singing and Dancing on Every Day and Holidays.
